  • Yeah! As a wholesaler, we provide material to fabricators around Connecticut & surrounding states. That means you can make an appointment to come here and pick out your material, and we ship it to your fabricator!

  • We are located in New Haven, CT - Right outside of Yale, downtown, and Science Park. If using a GPS, make sure you use this address: 2 Gibbs Street, New Haven, CT 06511

    The entrance to our parking lot is at the DEAD END of Gibbs Street. Please call us if you are having trouble finding us!

  • Yes. We love to provide excellent customer service! That being said, when you make an appointment you are reserving a time slot with a knowledgeable stone consultant who will guide you through our very large warehouse and answer your questions. Being an operational warehouse, we prefer that you have a consultant with you during your visit for safety.

  • Our warehouse is not temperature controlled. Please expect the warehouse temperature to be slightly cooler than outside. We recommend dressing warmly during the months October-April.

  • No. We are just the material provider. You will need to get in touch with a stone fabrication company to purchase the material for you, cut it, and install it.

  • We cannot make recommendations for fabricators. Here’s two big reasons:

    1. We never see finished work. Once material leaves our warehouse we seldom get to see how everything turns out - not much of a recommendation!

    2. All fabricators are our customers. Recommending one over another wouldn’t be very nice!

  • We do not offer any pricing at EleMar. The specific price quote will come from your fabricator. Once you finish your visit here, we send the list of materials you are interested in to your fabricator immediately so they can quote it for you.

  • It’s not a requirement! However, it helps things move along quicker if you have a fabricator in place already.

  • If you find something you love, EleMar offers a 7-day hold on material if it is available. You must have a fabricator in place to hold material. It is very important to stay in touch with your fabricator or project professional when you have material on hold at EleMar!

  • Yes. We work very hard to keep this website up to date to reflect current stock, but it is always smart to call to check stock if you really love something you see! The photos are indicative of what we have on the floor. Keep in mind, while we take very professional photos of our material, it is simply impossible for a photo to do the slab justice! We always advise you visit the slabs in person.

  • Absolutely. We know there is a ton of false, misleading or simply confusing information on the internet, Pinterest, and beyond. Our stone consultants are educated on using all types of stone in all types of applications. So ask away!
